RULES & REGULATIONS
ARTICLE VI - DUES & BUDGETING
Section 1. Each member will be assessed calendar-year dues in an amount established by the Board of Directors of the Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®, as a result of budget projections and recommendation of the MDC Leadership Team. The general budget of the MDC is to be prepared by the MDC Leadership Team, and submitted to the PMAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors no later than their November meeting.
Section 2. Any expenses outside of the approved MDC annual budget must be approved, before they are incurred, by the PMAR Board of Directors.
ARTICLE VII - MILLION DOLLAR CLUB LEADERSHIP TEAM
Section 1. Elected Members. The Leadership Team shall include two (2) Officers, President and President-Elect; three (3) Vice Presidents; and three (3) Directors at Large. Members of the Leadership Team shall be elected to serve one (1) year terms. Vice Presidents and Directors at Large may not serve for more than three (3) successive terms in each position. After a period of three years, the Immediate Past President is eligible to rejoin the MDC Leadership Team by submitting a nomination for a Director at Large position.
Ex-Officio Members. The Immediate Past President of the MDC and the current Broker of the Year will serve as ex-officio, non-voting members of the MDC Leadership Team for the duration of the elective year.
Section 2. Qualifications for serving on the Leadership Team are as follows:
President Elect: For continuity of leadership, the President Elect shall assume the Presidency the following year. Vice Presidents are the primary candidates for President Elect should they choose to continue in service to the Leadership Team.
Vice President: Vice Presidents must have served a minimum of one year as a Director at Large within the preceding three years.
Director at Large: Any Club member may serve as a Director at Large.
All Leadership Team members must be a current member of the Million Dollar Club.
Section 3. If any member of the MDC Leadership Team fails to attend three (3) regularly scheduled meetings of the Leadership Team per elective year, that member may, at the discretion of the remainder of the Leadership Team, be replaced. All vacancies occurring for reasons other than expiration of elective terms shall be filled by Presidential appointment with a simple majority vote of the Leadership Team for the remainder of the elective term.
Section 4. The Chief Executive Officer of the Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® shall serve as the Club’s secretary and shall keep the records of the Club and carry on all necessary correspondence.
